As the Georgia State men's basketball team prepares to take on Duke in historic Cameron Indoor Stadium in the season opener on Nov. 9, we countdown to opening night.

We are just three days until tip-off and today we feature sophomore guard Kevin Shaw.

The men's basketball team will open at home after two road games on Nov. 19, hosting the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic and facing Monmouth.

Q: What is your favorite TV show?

A: My favorite TV show is something on BET, I don't really have a favorite TV show but my favorite channel to watch is BET

Q: If you were a superhero, who would it be?

A: If I was a superhero I would be Superman

Q: What's your favorite color?

A: My favorite color is Red

Q: What's your favorite subject in school?

A: My favorite school subject is History

Q: Who is your favorite professor on campus?

A: My favorite professor on campus was Dr. Yearwood until he left and went to Maryland

Q: What is your best high school memory?

A: My favorite high school memory was beating Ballard in double overtime.  It was like 100 to 90.  It was a real good game.

Q: When you order pizza, how do you order it?

A: Meat Lover's, definitely from Pizza Hut.

Q: What is your favorite sport to play outside of basketball?

A: Well, besides basketball I used to play golf and football so probably between those two.

Q: Who is your favorite sports star?

A: My favorite is Kobe Bryant

Q: Why did you come to GSU?

A: I came to GSU because it is a great school, has great coaches, and it is in the city of Atlanta which is a great city.

Q: Who is your role model?

A: My role model is probably my father

Q: What is your favorite thing about GSU basketball?

A: My favorite thing about GSU basketball is the fans, the crowd, and I love the coaches

Q: Where is your favorite place to eat on campus?

A: My favorite place to eat on campus is a new spot called Mangos.  I love it.

Q: What is currently in your refrigerator?

A: Currently in my refrigerator is absolutely nothing

Q: What is your favorite snack?

A: My favorite snack would probably be something like oatmeal pies or Oreos and milk

Q: What's your favorite part about road trips?

A: My favorite part about road trips is not going to class

Q: What is your favorite song?

A: I don't really have a favorite song but my some of my favorite artists would be B Sim and Tupac

Q: The top three songs on your iPod right now.

A: The top three songs on my iPod would have to be Bands a Make Her Dance by Juicy J, I Don't Like by Chief Keef, and the whole Rick Ross album

Q: Your favorite toy growing up?

A: I didn't really have toys but it would probably be a basketball rim

Q: Who is the funniest player on the team?

A: Funniest player on the team would have to be David Travers

Q: Who is the best dressed player on the team?

A: If I had to pick someone besides myself, R.J. Hunter.

Q: Who is the best player with the ladies?

A: Best with the ladies, tough.  I'm going to go with myself or Devonta White

A: Lenox and a couple boutiques called Ginza
