ATLANTA - Georgia State University is partnering with fans and local businesses to give the gift of basketball to Atlanta's less fortunate children with "Hoops for Holidays".

The "Hoops for Holidays" program gives Atlanta's less fortunate children a chance to attend a GSU basketball game during the holiday season.

GSU athletics is asking fans, supporters, and local businesses to help by sponsoring children who wish to attend a GSU basketball game.  Every $10 tax-deductible donation provides kids with a game ticket for any game through January 5, plus a food voucher, and a gift.

Participating donors can also have their personal or company name displayed on the GSU athletics website and on Panther Vision during the game.

GSU has partnered with United Way, Atlanta Public Schools, the Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, Atlanta Mission, the Police Athletic League and over 50 other charities.

Moore Stephens Tiller LLC has donated at the All-American level and CommPark Inc. has already participated at the All-Conference level.
