JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Georgia State closed the 2019 outdoor track and field season this weekend as Jaeda Hunt, Lotte Meyberg and Alexus Shaw competed at the NCAA East Prelims in Jacksonville.

Going against the top competitors in their respective events from the East region, the Panthers came up short of advancing to nationals.

Sun Belt Champion Lotte Meyberg represented GSU in the 3000m steeplechase and placed 31st out of 48 runners with a time of 10:32.22.

Alexus Shaw qualified for the East prelims in both the triple jump and long jump. She finished 27th out of 47 in the triple jump and 25th out of 48 in the long jump.

Jaeda Hunt placed 24th in the long jump.
