The Georgia State University softball team had eight individuals honored for their outstanding scholastic work during the fall academic semester. 

Junior Holly Willis, sophomore Lauren Fetters, freshmen Tiffany Bess, Lauren Jones, Catherine Lee and Rebecca Roles garnered Dean’s List recognition (3.5 GPA or higher), while junior Madi Gore and sophomore Elizabeth Thomas were named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (3.2 GPA or higher). The softball team posted a team GPA of 3.11 for the fall semester.

As a whole, Georgia State’s body of student athletes had their most successful semester ever, posting a record 2.94 GPA for the fall semester.  Fourteen Georgia State teams posted a fall semester GPA of 2.75 or higher, led by the women’s tennis team with an impressive 3.70 GPA.
