Clottey is one of the largest Panthers, standing 6-5 and 310 pounds. The promising redshirt freshman played at Grayson High in Loganville, Ga., where he helped his team to a 13-1 record and a berth in the state semifinals in 2008.

The Georgia State football team recently concluded its first spring practice, and now the Panthers turn their attention to their inaugural season, which kicks off Sept. 2 versus Shorter at the Georgia Dome.
