ATLANTA--Kickoff times have been announced for Georgia State's five road football games during the 2011 season.
Highlighting the road schedule for the Panthers is a trip to FBS member Houston on Saturday, Sept. 24. The game will kick off at 8 p.m. ET at Robertson Stadium and will be regionally televised on CSS-TV.
The Panthers also face road tests against a pair of teams that reached the NCAA playoffs in 2010 with trips to Jacksonville State (Sept. 17, 3:30 p.m. ET) and South Carolina State (Oct. 15, 1:30 p.m.).
Rounding out the round slate are trips to first-year program UTSA, whom the Panthers will face on Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. ET at the Alamodome, and West Alabama on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. ET.
Head coach Bill Curry's Panthers look to build on their highly successful inaugural season of 2010, in which Georgia State posted a 6-5 record while averaging 16,750 fans at the Georgia Dome.
The 2011 season opens on Friday, Sept. 2, when the Panthers host Clark Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. at the Georgia Dome. Season tickets are on sale now. Call 866-GA-STATE or visit GeorgiaStateSports.com.
