Senior Associate Director of Athletics - External Affairs

Tiffany Daniels was named Georgia State's Senior Associate Director of Athletics for External Affairs in August 2011, bringing a decade of experience in athletics marketing and sales in the Atlanta area.

Daniels joined the GSU athletics staff from the Georgia Dome, where she served from 2006-2011 as Director of Business Development. She was responsible for seeking and negotiating new business ventures for the Georgia Dome while working with corporate sales and activation.

Daniels will oversee all external functions for GSU athletics, including marketing, promotions, corporate sales and licensing.

Before joining the Georgia Dome staff, Daniels worked with the Atlanta Spirit from 2001-05, first as group sales manager for the Atlanta Hawks and then as director of group sales for the Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers and Philips Arena.

She previously served as ticket sales manager for the Orlando Miracle of the WNBA (1998-2001).

Daniels earned a bachelor's degree in management information systems from the University of Georgia and then a master's in sports management from the University of Massachusetts.
