The Carnival is coming to town!

Saturday morning's tailgate will be the first-ever carnival outside the Dome at a GSU game as the marketing folks have lined up a 40-foot high ferris-wheel and a 20-foot high circle swing ride in the Orange Lot to go with all the other usual pre-game activities in the Brown and Orange lots. The rides open at 9 a.m., three hours before kickoff, and are free.

The Brown Lot carnival theme will continue in the PantherZone with the Mechanical Bull ride, the Rock Wall to climb, the QB Blitz game, the To The Hoop game, and smaller carnival-style games. As always, the video games, the face painting and airbrushing will be available for the fans.

Extra sponsor giveaways this Saturday start at 9 a.m. with J. Christopher's Breakfast Tailgate offering free food, while supplies last. J. Christopher's is a 22-restaurant company in Georgia and Tennessee that serves as a neighborhood casual breakfast and lunch gathering place with a creative menu.

The Atlanta-based 83-year landmark Varsity Hot Dog company will be offering free product at 10 a.m. Anyone in Atlanta knows what their favorites are when asked: "What'll Ya Have?"

Visit the Greyhound Express Tailgate, also located in the PantherZone, for their giveaway items, their photo booth and the live remote with 107.9 FM radio.

Check out the DressU online gameday boutique booth in the PantherZone as they feature their new fall apparel line.

Peachtree Orthopaedics will provide 1,000 fans with a water bottle giveaway after the game.

Spread the word to get their early and enjoy the unique and free fun rides and giveaways.

The game, presented by the Laureate Medical Group, kicks off earlier than ever with the special NOON KICKOFF for broadcast throughout the south and mid-Atlantic regions on Comcast Cable TV.

Listen in to NewsTalk 1160-AM (The Talk of the Town) radio for the pre-game show, the live game broadcast and the post-game show.
