By advancing to the Final 16 at the NCAA Tennis Championships, Georgia State's Abigail Tere-Apisah becomes the 21st Panther student-athlete to be honored in some fashion on an All-America team or list.
Tere-Apisah becomes just the fourth female student-athlete to be named All-American. The first was a female, basketball star Terese Allen in 1979-80, and now the most recent is a female.
