The Georgia State football program participated in the annual Pigskin Preview football media day Tuesday at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame in Macon, Ga.

Massive offensive tackle Ulrick John, a 6-8, 290-pound junior from Hinesville, Ga., and veteran cornerback Brent McClendon, a junior from Atlanta, represented the Panthers at Tuesday's event, which features all the state's football programs.

"We have been working hard to improve in every area," said John, who enters the fall as the Panthers' left tackle after starting at three different positions on the offensive line last fall. "Summer is a time to work really hard in the weight room and get stronger and faster, and that's what we're doing right now.
