Georgia State fans are invited to celebrate the start of the 2012 season at the GSU Football Kickoff Luncheon, presented by the Panther Athletic Club, on Thursday, Aug. 23 at the East Lake Golf Club.

This annual event features head coach Bill Curry, his staff and players and provides fans with an inside look at the upcoming season. This year's event also includes a special appearance by Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Karl Benson, who will discuss Georgia State's move to the Sun Belt and the evolving landscape of college athletics.

Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., when a silent auction will feature items such as game worn football jerseys, unique football team travel opportunities, and exclusive football game-day experiences. The program will begin at 12 noon.

Tables for the event are available for $1100 and include seating for eight guests. Tables will also include two seats for GSU football student-athletes or coaches. Individual tickets are available for $110 per seat.
