ATLANTA--In Georgia State's first two seasons of football, the wide receiver position has been the team's strength, and that should continue in 2012, highlighted by the tandem of Danny Williams and Albert Wilson.
Williams and Wilson, both juniors, are the two most prolific pass catchers in Georgia State's brief history, combining for 140 receptions, 2,200 receiving yards and 16 touchdown catches in the Panthers' first 22 games.
Wilson, the 5-9 speedster from Port St. Lucie, Fla., has earned numerous accolades for his receiving and return skills, but the 6-4 Williams, a physical receiver who also has excellent blocking skills, is just as important to the GSU offense.

The Panthers open the season two weeks from today, hosting South Carolina State on Thursday, Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Georgia Dome.
