ATLANTA--Children attending Saturday's Georgia State football game against Richmond can meet former professional football and baseball standout Brian Jordan, now a best-selling author of children's books.

Georgia State Athletics has partnered with Georgia's Own Credit Union to offer this unique opportunity.

Saturday's game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. at the Georgia Dome. For tickets, call 866-GA-STATE.

Jordan, a Richmond alumnus who played for the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves, will be reading selections from his popular children's books and signing autographs.

From 2:30 - 3:15 p.m., Jordan will be on hand in Pounce Town, the interactive family area located on the Georgia Dome concourse at Gate C.

The first 300 children aged 12-and-under will receive a complimentary copy of Jordan's latest book, "Time Out for Bullies." Book distribution begins at Pounce Town when the gates open at 2 p.m.

Members of Pounce's Kids Club are guaranteed to receive a book and will have priority in the autograph line. For information on joining Pounce's Kids Club, click here.

Jordan's other book titles include, "I Told You I Can Play" and "Overcoming the Fear of the Baseball."
