ATLANTA - After successful weekends, both the men's and women's Georgia State tennis teams jumped into the Top 75 ITA team rankings.

The men's team is ranked No. 68 after defeating UAB 4-1 Friday, who was unranked then but is now ranked No. 69, and fighting with No. 59 Nebraska. The women's team jumped all the way to No. 58 in the women's team rankings. The Panthers defeated No. 35 Columbia 4-3 Saturday for the biggest upset in program history.

Also setting a program record is Abigail Tere-Apisah and Masa Grgan's doubles ranking of No. 15. It is the highest doubles ranking in GSU women's tennis history, eclipsing their previous high of No. 19 set on Jan. 3, 2013.

Tere-Apisah is also ranked No. 11 in the singles ranking after a 9-0 singles start to the season.

Both teams will be in action, with the men travelling to Florida to face Stetson and UCF and the women hosting NC State on Sunday at noon at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
