ATLANTA - In the its regular season finale, the Georgia State men's tennis team will face Georgia Southern in Statesboro, Ga., at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The Panthers go into the match with a 9-13 record. The Panthers went 1-2 this past weekend against DePaul, S.C. State and College of Charleston. Georgia State won 4-3 in a dramatic fashion over S.C. State Saturday night. 

Saturday night also honored Georgia State's two seniors: Thomas Cook and Robert Schulze. Schulze went 3-0 over the weekend in singles.

Georgia Southern comes into the match with a 4-16 record. The Eagles are 1-7 in the last eight matches. The four teams Georgia Southern has defeated are Bethune-Cookman, Wofford, Davidson and Chattanooga. The Eagles are 1-7 at home this season.

This will be the final match of the regular season for the Panthers. Following Wednesday's match, Georgia State will be back in action on April 17-20 at the Sun Belt Championships in New Orleans, La.
