Due to construction of the new Atlanta Falcons' stadium next to the current site of the Georgia Dome, there are many areas that will have disruptions in traffic patterns on Georgia State football game days. Fans will also find new parking areas being utilized compared to previous years attending Panther games.

UPDATE (Aug. 25)

Getting to the Dome: Be sure to familiarize yourself with road closures and traffic patterns around the Georgia Dome. Many streets to the south of the Dome are either closed permenantly or could be closed on any given week. 

 

Student Parking and Shuttles: Current Georgia State students with a valid PantherID card can ride the shuttles to and from the game. Shuttles pick up at the University Commons. Service starts four hours before kickoff and ends approximately an hour after the game, however shuttles will run until all students are out of the Dome. 

Student parking is available in the Georgia Dome Blue Lot . Parking passes are limited and are distributed on a first come first serve basis. Starting Tuesday of game week students can come to the Sports Arena Ticket Office to pick-up parking passes. There is a limit of one pass per student and a Panther ID is required for pick-up.

Parking: 

Season parking passes are available for Panther Athletic Club donors at the $250 level and above. New for 2016, Blue Lot and Gold Deck parking will be permit only.

There are general public parking pay lots (Yellow Lot / Red Deck) available around the Georgia Dome, as well as a staging area for buses near the facility. The cost is $10 to park in those locations.

Handicap parking is available for $10 in the Red Deck with a handicap permit. Patrons who park in the Red Deck must still enter through a public gate.
