Saturday’s 5K will be the sixth competition for GSU this season. The Panthers have finished fourth or better in each of the first five races. Freshman Angela Alonso has led the way and has completed each event as GSU’s top finisher.

Head coach Chris England likes the fact the the team has already ran the course once this season.

"Competing at Troy in September boosted our confidence,” head coach Chris England said. “They now know the course, and it's challenges, to gain a competitive edge on Saturday.”
