ATLANTA-Georgia State Basketball Live with head coach Ron Hunter continues Thursday noon-1 p.m. show on 1340 The Fan 3. This year’s shows will take place from the brand new dining hall at Piedmont Central located in the heart of Georgia State’s dorms.

The live call-in show will air 1340 The Fan 3 and will be streamed to GeorgiaStateSports.com and the GSU mobile apps.

With a change in Sun Belt Conference games to a Saturday-Monday schedule this year, the show needed a new time and along with that, the most popular dining hall on campus was selected for the weekly show.

“I really enjoy having the show right on campus among the students,” Hunter said. “We need all of our fans to give us a great home court advantage in the GSU Sports Arena, but especially the students. Our team feeds off their energy and I love the interaction we get with them during the show.”

The Voice of the Panthers Dave Cohen, along with 680 The Fan’s Brandon Leak, will spend an hour each week talking Georgia State basketball with Hunter and members of the team.

Throughout the show, students and fans on site are encouraged to ask coach Hunter questions live on the air.

GSU fans are invited to interact with Hunter via social media. Using the hashtag #AskCoachHunter, fans can submit questions via Twitter on Thursdays between 9 a.m. and noon. Select questions will be featured on air, and other questions will be answered via social media after the show.

During the show, fans can call in with questions at (404) 741-1340.

The one-hour show will recap previous games, preview upcoming contests and give fans a behind-the-scenes look at Georgia State basketball.
