NEW ORLEANS, La. - Georgia State's cross country team held down the highest GPA among Division-I cross country teams during the season this year, the USTFCCCA announced Thursday. With a 3.85 GPA last fall, no team had a better semester in the classroom than the Panthers.

"I am really proud of this team and their accomplishments in competition and in the classroom," head coach Chris England said. "To have the highest GPA in Division-I is a great honor and a testament to the hard work of our student-athletes and the hard work of our academic support staff at Georgia State."
