ATLANTA- The Georgia State women’s soccer announced its 2017 spring exhibition schedule on Sunday, with the slate highlighted by an in-state match-up and a Power-5 opponent.

"The girls have trained hard so far this spring and they are excited to test themselves," head coach Ed Joyce said.

The team opened the schedule with a 1-0 win over Jacksonville State on March 4 in Panthersville, the first of four home matches. The Panthers hosted the Gamecocks during the regular season, where the match ended in a 0-0 draw.

Following spring break, GSU will return to Panthersville to host Clemson on April 3 in the first meeting between the two teams.

The team will continue home play on April 8 to host Point University before concluding the spring season against Georgia College and State University on April 14.

The Panthers return 13 letterwinners from last year’s team that went 5-6-6 in the first year under Joyce, and welcomed three mid-year enrollees.
