The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with first, second and third team selections. NFCA member coaches from each respective region voted on the teams, and all the honorees now become eligible for selection to the 2017 NFCA Division I All-American squads.
Drake was named to the first team after leading GSU in batting average, runs scored, walks and on-base percentage. She was second on the team in home runs and doubles and third in RBI.
Litumbe made the third team as she had a career year at the plate, tying the GSU single-season home run record with 22. She also broke Georgia State's career home run record this season and ranks in the top-10 in NCAA Division-I among active players. Litumbe led GSU in RBI and slugging percentage as well.
Both Drake and Litumbe were named first-team All-Sun Belt this season and will be back in 2018 for their senior campaigns.
