What You Need to Know:
* The Georgia State women’s golf team will conclude a five-tournament fall schedule at the Ladies Fall Intercollegiate at Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek beginning on Friday.
* Earlier this week, sophomore Harmanprit Kaur finished tied for sixth at the FIU Pat Bradley Classic, the best showing for a Panther this fall.
* A total of 12 teams will play on the same course that has hosted several major events, including the 2011 PGA Championship.


ATLANTA – The Georgia State women’s golf team will conclude a busy week and the fall season at the Ladies Fall Intercollegiate at Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek beginning on Friday. A top-notch 12-team field will challenge the same course that hosted the 2011 PGA Championship.

This will conclude a busy week for the Panthers who finished 12th at the FIU Pat Bradley Classic on Monday. Sophomore Harmanprit Kaur tied for sixth shooting 3-over par for Georgia State’s best individual finish of the fall.

“Our team is excited to be playing so close to home in an excellent event,” head coach Cathy Mant said. “Things did not go our way in Florida early this week, so I think everything is excited to get back on the course and hopefully finish the fall with some great momentum to get us ready for the spring.”

The line-up will include juniors Jemima Gregson and Emily Royer, along with sophomores Harmanprit Kaur and Grace Choi, with freshman Chloe Howard playing in the No. 1 position. Senior Paula Zabarte will compete as an individual for Georgia State.

Along with Georgia State, the field includes Augusta, Coastal Carolina, Dartmouth, East Carolina, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kennesaw State, Louisville and Minnesota.

The 12-team field will play 54 holes over three days beginning on Friday. Teams will utilized tee times all three days starting at 8:30 a.m.

Following this week’s tournament, Georgia State will open the spring season at the Amelia Island Collegiate Feb. 18-19, in Amelia Island, Fla.
