UPDATE: Due to inclement weather expected in Boone on a Saturday, the women’s 5K start time has been moved up to 9 a.m. The race will still be shown on ESPN3.

ATLANTA - Georgia State's cross country team is headed to Boone, N.C., this weekend for the 2017 Sun Belt Championships on Saturday hosted by Appalachian State.

The women's 5K race is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and will be shown on ESPN3. Live results will also be available through Delta Timing.

Lotte Meyberg was named the Sun Belt Student-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 18 after finishing first in the MC College 5K with a time of 18:20. She has been the top Panther in the previous two regular season events.

The 5K will take place at the State Farm Fields and Kennedy Cross Country Course in Boone. The Panthers ran the course back on Sept. 16 with Morgan Laushey recording the top time for GSU (19:02).
