ATLANTA - Penny Hart of the GSU football is this week's Georgia State Student-Athlete of the Week, powered by the U.S. Marines.

Georgia State receiver Penny Hart broke his own school record with 191 receiving yards on eight receptions to lead the Panthers to their 21-17 come-from-behind victory at Georgia Southern, including:
 
> The game-winning 9-yard touchdown on a spectacular catch in the corner of the end zone with 2:31 to play;
 
> A career-long, 70-yard reception down to the 5-yard line to set up Georgia State's second touchdown;
 comeback.
> A 53-yard reception on 3rd-and-10 from the GSU 19-yard line, flipping field position in the final eight minutes to set the stage for the Panthers'
 
Hart's play led Georgia State to its fifth win in the last six games, including four road victories, as well as the Panthers' third straight win over their in-state rival. GSU now sits in second place in the Sun Belt standings, trailing only unbeaten Arkansas State.
 
Hart, the Sun Belt's leading receiver, ranks fifth in the nation in receiving yards (109.5 per game), sixth in receptions (7.6 per game) and 10th in touchdowns (8).
 
The sophomore from Buford, Ga., has accounted for 36 percent of the Panthers' receptions (61) and 41 percent of their receiving yards (876) this season while catching eight of the team’s 12 TD passes.
 
Hart topped the 2,000-yard mark for career receiving yards during the game. After just 23 career games, Hart has amassed 140 receptions for 2,036 yards and 17 touchdowns. He ranks fourth among all active FBS receivers with career averages of 6.07 receptions and 88.5 receiving yards per game.
