ATLANTA- The Georgia State men’s tennis team will close out the regular season on the road at No. 43 Middle Tennessee Saturday afternoon.

The Panthers are 12-9 on the season and coming off a 2-0 weekend to close home play. The team is on a three-match winning streak and has won five of its last seven matches.

Senior Andrei Andrukhou had an impressive weekend on the court, going 4-0 overall and clinching the match against UNCW. The Minsk, Belarus native was named Sun Belt Player of the Week for his performance.

Giles Hussey is another standout late in the season, clinching the match over SBC foe Louisiana and going 10-1 in his last 11 matches. Playing with partner Jack MacFarlane for the latter half of the season, the duo is 6-2 and on a three-match winning streak. The pair has clinched the last three doubles point for the Panthers.

The Blue Raiders are 20-4 this season and will host Georgia State for their senior day match. The team is on an eight-match winning streak, with its last loss coming against then-No. 35 Old Dominion nearly one month ago.
