ATLANTA- Georgia State’s Brooke Weiner and Tiffany Creamer were named to the CCSA All-Tournament team as announced by the conference Sunday evening. The pair was 3-1 over the weekend and hold a 16-7 record on the season.

Creamer and Weiner began the weekend knocking off the number two pair from LSU in straight sets. The duo would follow it up with a three-set victory over FAU, helping the Panthers to a 4-1 win over the Owls.

On day two of competition the pair cruised to a 21-10, 21-11 win in a sweep of UNCW that gave the Panthers their 24th win of the season. Individually, Weiner’s 26 and Creamer’s 25 rank first and second on the team.

Overall, GSU finished 2-2 at the CCSA Tournament and are 24-12 on the season. The Panthers will await the April 29th bracket reveal hoping to be awarded an at large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
