ATLANTA-Georgia State video coordinator Jeff Diepenbrock has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2017-18 Under Armour 30-under-30 list as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
The list recognizes a group of up and coming young coaches in men’s college basketball under the age of 30.
Diepenbrock joined the Georgia State Athletics Department in August 2012 as a graduate assistant with the men’s basketball team before being promoted to Video Manager in July 2014. He currently oversees all aspects of video services for the team and is in charge of student managers and volunteers with the program.
“I am extremely pleased to see Jeff earn this honor,” head coach Ron Hunter said. “He has been a vital part of my staff nearly since I began at Georgia State. He is a tireless worker who wants to help our program be as successful as possible. The future is bright for him.”
The Panthers are coming off a second NCAA tournament appearance in the last four years after winning the Sun Belt Conference Championship and going 24-11.
Georgia State will return to the court for summer instruction in early June to start preparations for the 2018-19 season. The Panthers are looking to win 20 or more games for the fifth time in six seasons during the upcoming campaign.
