ATLANTA -- Luke Leonard, Romero Greer and Kalen Puckett drove in two runs each to lead Georgia State to a 10-2 victory over Savannah State Wednesday at the GSU Baseball Complex.

The Panthers (22-22) broke a 2-2 tie with a five-run sixth inning and then cruised to the victory.

Five pitchers took the mound for the Panthers (22-22), with reliever Brandon Baker (3-2) earning the victory with 1.2 perfect ininngs, including three strikeouts. After starter Tanner Thomson pitched 4.2 innings, Baker, Liam Henry (1.2 innings), Will White (0.2) and Joah Curry (0.2) finished the game by allowing no runs on two hits with seven strikeouts.

With the game tied at 2-2, Ryan Glass led off the bottom of the sixth with a single and scored on Jack Thompson's double over the center fielder's head. Will Kilgore singled to put runners at first and third, and Luke Leonard grounded to the pitcher, allowing Thompson to score. After Greer beat out an infield single and stole second, Puckett was called on to pinch hit, and the freshman delivered a two-run single to put the Panthers ahead 6-2. GSU loaded the bases again on two hit batters and a walk, and Glass drew a bases-loaded base on balls for the fifth run of the inning and a 7-2 advantage.

GSU added one run in the seventh and two in the eighth, including Andrew Keene's RBI-triple.

Leonard also drove in the Panthers' first run with an RBI-single in the second, and Greer knocked two runs on ground balls in the fourth and seventh innings. Thompson was 3-for-3 with three runs scored.

Savannah State fell to 5-30 on the season.

The Panthers now hit the road for a weekend series at ULM beginning Friday at 7 p.m. ET in Monroe, La.
