ATLANTA- Georgia State women's soccer head coach Ed Joyce announced the 2018 schedule on Monday morning as the Panthers prepare for their first exhibition match in less than three weeks. The schedule is highlighted by a pair of match-ups with SEC opponents as well as in-state foe Mercer traveling to Atlanta.

“We are really excited about our 2018 schedule,” Joyce said. “We have a very challenging non-conference slate of matches which will prepare us well for the rigor of the Sun Belt Conference. The addition of two SEC opponents to the schedule will be a great experience.”

The Panthers open the season with two exhibition matches beginning on Aug. 5, as Georgia State hosts Charlotte at the GSU Soccer Complex. A week later the Panthers will travel to Clinton, S.C., to face Presbyterian College for an exhibition match on Aug. 12.
