THE KICKOFF

> Georgia State faces the first of consecutive road tests with a game at Louisiana Saturday at 5 p.m. ET at Cajun Field.

> The Panthers look to snap a four-game skid after falling 41-30 to Texas State. Louisiana is coming off a 26-16 loss to Troy.

> Georgia State and Louisiana are meeting for the first time since 2015. In fact, the Ragin’ Cajuns are the Sun Belt team that GSU has faced the least since joining the league in 2013. The teams have played only three times, and the Panthers will play at Louisiana for just the second time.

> Louisiana leads the series 3-0, but the last two games have been decided by a total of just five points. The Cajuns won 23-21 in 2015 at the Georgia Dome and 34-31 at Lafayette in 2014.
