ATLANTA – Defending Sun Belt Conference Champions Georgia State men’s soccer will hold open tryouts for all prospective student athletes on Thursday, Jan. 17 at the GSU Soccer Complex. The tryout is set to begin at 10 a.m.

All COMPLETED paperwork, which includes Walk-On Form and Physical Form must be turned into the GSU Compliance (Lisa Helth - GSU Stadium 2nd Floor). 

On the Walk On Form, the Initial Information section must be filled out and completed by yourself.  Prior to visiting the Athletic Training Staff, you need to have completed the Sports Medicine Paperwork.

The Athletic Training section will then be completed by an athletic training staff member (Sports Arena).

Student Athlete Development section is to be signed off by Bree Hicken located in GSU Stadium 2nd Floor (not available on Tuesday’s) and the Office of Athletic Compliance section to be filled out by Lisa Helth. The form must be filled out in that order.

Physicals must be signed by a doctor or they will not be accepted.

The final day to turn in paperwork will be January 15thNO EXCEPTIONS!

All persons who wish to try out must be enrolled as a full-time student at Georgia State University’s downtown campus. If you earn a spot on the team, a block in your class schedule from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. is required.
