ATLANTA -- Head coach Shawn Elliott and the Georgia State football program invite Georgia high school coaches to participate in GSU Football Connect 2019, a unique professional development and networking opportunity for prep coaches.

Coaches chosen for GSU Football Connect 2019 will participate in mock interviews and other professional development sessions with Elliott and the Panthers' staff

In order to apply, you must be a head football coach or position coach in the state of Georgia, employed through the school system in which you coach. Applicants must submit a resume and two references to Director of On-Campus Recruiting/Player Personnel Ginny Thompson at gthompson22@gsu.edu by Feb. 22.

Ten applicants will be selected for GSU Football Connect 2019, which will take place March 5-7 at the GSU Football Complex, located at 188 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SE, Atlanta, GA 30312.

"As coaches, we certainly know the value of practice and preparation, so this is the perfect way for high school coaches to hone their personal and professional skills," Elliott said. "There are so many fine coaches in the Georgia high school ranks, and we are excited to reach out to these coaches to help them grow in the profession and prepare for future opportunities."
