HONOLULU, Hawaii - Georgia State was defeated 10-1 by Fresno State Friday at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.

The Bulldogs (3-1) used 13 hits to overpower the Panthers (0-3).

Freshman Jess Neadow was a bright spot for GSU both on offense and defense. Neadow made her collegiate debut with the start at shortstop and flashed the leather in the second inning with a diving catch to rob Fresno State of a hit up the middle.

Then, in her first career at-bat in the bottom of the third, Neadow belted a towering home run down the left field line.

Reagan Morgan, Alyssa Brumelow and Caitlin Ray all recorded hits for the Panthers as well.

Georgia State closes out its trip to Hawaii Saturday against UT Arlington and UCLA as part of the Hawaii Paradise Classic.
