ATLANTA- Georgia State volleyball is set to play two spring competition dates as announced by head coach Sally Polhamus Thursday morning. The Panthers will visit Georgia Tech this Saturday and travel to Athens to face Georgia on April 20.

GSU will make the short trip up the road to Georgia Tech for a pair of matches this Saturday afternoon. The Panthers will face Sun Belt rival Troy at 1:00 p.m. before battling the Yellow Jackets at 4:00 p.m.

Next Saturday State will take a trip to Athens for matches with Georgia and UNC Asheville at 11:00 a.m. and noon respectively. The Panthers return eight players from the 2018 roster and the 2019 team is joined by early enrollee freshman Kampbell Hehr.

“We cannot wait to get back on the court this weekend,” said Polhamus. “We have worked hard this offseason, but it will be refreshing to see another team across the net. We are excited to play four great volleyball teams, including two from our home state. It will be a great way to measure how we have grown since November.”
