ATLANTA -- With Georgia State's season opening football game set for Aug. 31 at Tennessee, the Panthers are already hard at work with summer training, lifting weights and conditioning in preparation for the 2019 season.
As senior quarterback Dan Ellington said, "This is where your team is made."
Season tickets for the 2019 season are on sale now, beginning as low as $60 for the six-game home slate, with discounts available for GSU faculty and staff. Single-game tickets are priced at $20 per game, with group tickets (10 or more) ranging from $10-15 per game. Fans can purchase tickets online at GeorgiaStateSports.com/tix or by calling the ticket office at 404-413-4020 (M-F, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.).
Ellington returns to quarterback the Panthers after passing for 2,119 yards and rushing for 625 yards in his first season at the helm.
One of Ellington's top targets is senior Devin Gentry, the Panthers' most experienced receiver caught 22 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns a year ago.
