ATLANTA – Head coach Gene Hill released the Georgia State women’s basketball non-conference schedule for the upcoming season on Friday, announcing six home contests before the start of conference play.

The Panthers will play three straight home contests, including an exhibition, to start the 2019-20 season. Tuskegee (exhibition), Toledo, and FIU will be the first opponents for the Panthers.

After a visit to crosstown rival Georgia Tech on Nov. 20, GSU will host Alabama A&M on Nov. 29. That Alabama A&M game will be the final home game for GSU until Dec. 18.

The first of two road trips will start with the UTEP Thanksgiving Classic against New Mexico State and UTEP Nov. 29-30 in El Paso, Texas. A week later the Panthers hit the Carolinas for road contests at Furman (Dec. 5) and UNCG (Dec. 7).

On Dec. 18, GSU will host Maryland in the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Georgia State rounds out the non-conference schedule Dec. 21-22 as hosts to the GSU Classic. GSU will play South Carolina State and SIU-Edwardsville.

Sun Belt play begins Jan. 2 as the Panthers host Louisiana.
