ATLANTA- With one fall exhibition finished, Georgia State beach volleyball head coach Beth Van Fleet announced the remainder of the fall slate on Thursday morning.
Last weekend the Panthers traveled to Columbia, South Carolina, to face College of Charleston, Coastal Carolina, and host South Carolina. This was the first collegiate event for freshmen Elise Saga and Jessica Maxson. This match also marked the first event in a Georgia State polo for new assistant coach Wayne Holly.
This fall is the third year since the NCAA has allowed teams to play in four autumn events. The Panthers will visit UAB on October 4. Two weeks later the Panthers will travel to Panama City, Florida, to participate in FSU’s tournament on October 19. GSU will round out the fall slate with a return trip to the Yellowhammer State to participate in the Collegiate Beach Clash on November 2.
