Stephanie Saculles joined the Georgia State Athletic Department in September 2019 in the position of Academic Counselor for football, men’s golf and women’s golf.
Prior to joining the Georgia State staff, Saculles served as an Academic Advisor and Learning Specialist for football student-athletes at Washington State. She also served as the program coordinator for the Peer Academic Counseling program. During her time at WSU, football achieved its highest GPA since the 2011-2012 academic year, had the most student-athletes achieve President’s Honor Roll in program history, and had its most student-athletes earn over a 3.0 GPA. All in the same year as achieving their first NCAA Top 10 ranked season with the most wins in program history.
Prior to WSU, Saculles served as an Assistant Academic Counselor for Football and Men’s Basketball at Louisville, immediately following her graduate assistantship in Academic Services. During her time at Louisville, Saculles earned her Master’s Degree in Sport Administration, received the Outstanding Graduate Student in Sport Administration award, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. She also was a member of the 42x National Champion Cheerleading team where she earned a National Championship title in 2013 and a World Championship title in 2015.
Saculles is an active member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A). She is also involved in N4A’s Ethnic Concerns Committee where she has held the position as Recorder (2018-2019) and as Regional Outreach Chair (2019-2020).
