ATLANTA- Junior Giles Hussey was named Sun Belt Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

The Swindon, England native went 4-0 over last weekend, helping the team to a 5-2 victory over ETSU and a close loss at Georgia Tech. Hussey and doubles partner Jack MacFarlane defeated the ITA No. 2 pair in the nation, playing at the No. 3 position during the match.

Hussey is having an impressive season on the court, going 8-3 in singles and 6-5 in doubles play. He has won his last five singles matches and is undefeated with MacFarlane in doubles play.

Georgia State will return to the court this weekend, heading to Florida for two Spring Break matches.
