ATLANTA- The Georgia State women’s tennis team was named as an Intercollegiatee Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic team for the 2018-2019 school year and five Panthers earned Scholar-Athlete honors, the organization announced Thursday.

Eva Chivu, Anastasia Grosheva, Daniela Ramirez, Andreea Stanescu, and Lara Vovk all earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a student-athlete must be a varsity letter winner who has been enrolled for at least two semesters and achieves a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the academic year.
