ATLANTA - In partnership with the Residence Hall Association and University Housing, Georgia State Athletics has announced Project Spirit. The awards program is designed to reward the resident hall with the most attendance at Georgia State football games beginning with the Murray State game on Oct. 8.

After a pair of road games and a bye week, the Panthers return home to face the Racers in the Georgia Dome at 2 p.m.

As students have at previous Georgia State football games, they will swipe their Panther Card when arriving at Gate A of the Georgia Dome. After the game, the hall with the most percentage of student attendance will win prizes for their hall.

Each residence hall will have their own unique shirt. On campus students will be able to pick up their hall specific t-shirt from a RHA representative at Gate A of the Murray State game on Oct. 8.

After each of the remaining four Georgia State football home games, a hall winner will be announced based on the percentage of residences in attendance.

Following the Oct. 8 contest against Murray State, the Panthers will take on South Alabama on Oct. 22 and 3 p.m. in the annual homecoming game.

State will face St. Francis on Nov. 5 at 2 p.m., before closing out its second season on Nov. 19 against Campbell, also at 2 p.m.
