ATLANTA -- With the Georgia State Panthers off to a 2-0 start, this week's edition of the Remy Lazarus Show features redshirt freshman wide receiver Sam Pinckney.
Pinckney showed promise as a true freshman in 2018 before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Coming off the injury, he earned a starting berth in the preseason, and then the Greenwood, S.C., native had a breakout game in the win over Furman. Pinckney had seven catches for 80 yards against the Paladins, including a spectacular 26-yard touchdown catch.
The Panthers now hit the road for two straight games, beginning Saturday at Western Michigan (7 p.m. on ESPN+). Georgia State's next home game is Saturday, Oct. 5, when Arkansas State visits Georgia State Stadium for Homecoming. For tickets, call 404-413-4020 or visit GeorgiaStateSports.com/tix.
