ATLANTA – Georgia State’s softball team won its sixth game in a row Wednesday, defeating Presbyterian 3-0 at the Bob Heck Softball Complex.

Kinsley Jennings threw a complete-game shutout to improve to 6-2 on the season. The senior struck out six and allowed just four hits.

Ivie Drake provided Jennings the run support with a three-run homer that landed on top of the indoor hitting facility beyond the left field wall. Drake’s third-inning dinger was her fourth of the season and 51st of her career.

Drake ranks sixth among active Division-I players for most career home runs.

Brenna Skalski went 2-for-3 on the day to raise her batting average to .357. Skalski has a hit in five straight games and has four multi-hit games over the last five contests.

GSU is off to a 7-0 start at home, the best start since GSU went 10-0 in its first 10 home games of the 2015 season.
