The Suwanee, Ga., product led regular Panther starters with a .315 batting average and .376 on-base percentage on the season. He drove in 16 runs while scoring 28 times, fourth-most on the club.
Bailey was also relied on heavily defensively. He finished with a team-high 120 assists and 28 double plays turned from the shortstop position. He started 48 games up the middle, including 30 of the team's final 31 contests.
The left-handed batter had 17 multiple-hit games on the year- third-most on the squad- including three hits in a game six different times. A versatile threat, Bailey batted in seven different spots in the Panther lineup, leading off 16 times.
Bailey is one of five players on the All-Rookie squad to bat over .300 on the season.
