Named the Georgia Dugout Club state AA Player of the Year senior season after batting .550, leading team to state runner-up finish... Also named the Region 4-AA Player of the Year and an all-state selection as his 65 hits tied for the fourth-most in state single-season history... Junior season, batted .460 in guiding team to final eight of state playoffs and all-region honors... Batted .530 his sophomore year in earning all-region accolades... Freshman season, earned all-region nod after compiling a .425 average... Also competed in football and track.
