Matt Ehasz prepares to make his moves for his second season at GSU and hopes to contribute even more to the Panthers special teams.

The 5-11, 165-pounder played in four games last year as a freshman kicker, making a perfect 12-for-12 extra points and adding a 34-yard field goal for 15 points. He also kicked off eight times, booming them an average 57.2 yards

A Georgia native from the southeastern most county in the state and more than 300 miles from Atlanta, Ehasz was part of back-to-back state championship teams at Camden County High, winning the 2009 state title in the Georgia Dome. He was named to the all-state first team by Associated Press. Ehasz made his moves with 63 consecutive extra points, the school record. He wore Number 97 in high school and chose that same number at Georgia State.
