ATLANTA--Georgia State women's golf standouts Charlotte Lorentzen and Solveig Helgesen are among the 31 GSU student-athletes named to the spring semester President's List, the university's highest academic distinction.
The President's List signifies a semester GPA of 4.0 or higher with at least nine credit hours.
Georgia State's student-athlete population maintained a combined cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 for the eighth consecutive semester, and a total of 158 Panthers in all sports earned academic honors for the recently completed spring semester.
Lorentzen, a senior from Soroe, Denmark, and the three-time CAA Golfer of the Year, and Helgesen, a sophomore from Hagavik, Norway, as the top students on the women's golf team, which is one of nine GSU programs to earn a combined team grade point average of better than 3.0 this spring.
In addition to Lorentzen and Helgesen on the President's List, Laura Sanchez and Melissa Siviter were named to the Dean's List, which recognizes a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher, and Charlotte Guilleux was tabbed to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (3.2 GPA or higher).
