Georgia State golfer Charlotte Lorentzen, already one of the most decorated student-athletes in Panther annals, added another honor to her impressive resume when she was named Thursday to the Capital One Academic All-District team for the second straight year.

A member of the At-Large team, Lorentzen is now eligible for the Capital One Academic All-America team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The senior from Soroe, Denmark maintains a 3.8 grade point average while majoring in journalism. Winner of two Colonial Athletic Association individual titles, she is a three-time selection as CAA Golfer of the Year and a two-time choice as the CAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women's golf. She recently concluded her college career by playing in her second straight NCAA Regional, and she owns the best career scoring average in Georgia State history at 74.69.
