ATLANTA - Georgia State's cross country team heads to Clinton, Miss., this weekend to compete in the Mississippi College Invitational on Saturday at Choctaw Trails. 

The 5K race will start at 9:30 a.m. ET.  Several Division I programs will be in the field Saturday including Alabama A&M, Alcorn State, Grambling, Jackson State, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi Valley, New Orleans, Nicholls, Northwestern State, Southern and UL Monroe. 

Two weeks ago in Alabama at the JSU Foothills Invite, Lotte Meyberg took home first place as the Panthers finished second in the team scoring.

The Panthers will have next week off to prepare for the Sun Belt Championships which will be hosted in Boone, N.C. on Oct. 28.
