CLINTON, Miss. - Lotte Meyberg picked up her second win in a row Saturday, taking home first place at the MC Invite and helping the Panthers to a second place team finish.

Meyberg had the top 5k time at 18:20, her fastest meet of the season. Morgan Laushey (19:04) and Angela Alonso (19:07) both finished in the top-8 among Division-I runners. Lindsay Shealy (19:48) and Jordan Townsley (20:08) rounded out the field for Georgia State.

The Panthers finished second in team scoring, just behind Sun Belt-foe Louisiana. GSU bested 11 other D-I programs including UL Monroe and Louisiana Tech.

Georgia State has this week off before heading to Boone, N.C. for the Sun Belt Championships on Oct. 28.
